Terms and Conditions for Training and Webinars
- Agreement
This registration agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Operon Strategist (the “Organizer”) and the registrant.
- Substitution Policy
Substitutions are not recommended. If a substituted individual attends using an original registrant’s credentials, the original registrant may be held responsible for any code of conduct violations by the substituted individual.
- Age Limitation
All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend Operon Strategist trainings and all related events.
- Payment and Registration Details
Registration may require you to provide your business contact information.
- Credentials and Communications
If you attend the training, Operon Strategist may use the data provided for communications of services. You will be subject to our communications and privacy policies and may opt‑out as required.
- Audio and Video Recording
Video and audio recording of our content is strictly prohibited unless you have obtained express written consent from Operon Strategist.
- Recording Disclaimer
By participating in a virtual event, you irrevocably grant Operon Strategist and its affiliates, agents, and licensees the right (but not the obligation) to record your avatar, likeness, voice, and/or username and to own, license, assign, and use the same (or any portion) in the production, exhibition, and promotion of the event and Operon Strategist services, without compensation, in any media and on any platform now known or hereafter devised (including the Internet) throughout the universe in perpetuity. You waive the right to bring action of any kind in law or equity against Operon Strategist.
- Unauthorized Interception of Digital Data
Any unauthorized effort to intercept digital data is strictly prohibited.
Examples include:
- collecting electronically transmitted data without consent of the owner of that data; or
- collecting electronically transmitted data with consent of the data owner, but under fictitious pretenses.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following technologies used when collecting data under deceptive or non‑consensual means:
- RFID (radio‑frequency identification)
- NFC (near‑field communication)
- Bluetooth wireless technology
- Wi‑Fi technology
- Admittance
At its sole discretion, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from Operon Strategist’s training any person whose behaviour it determines could be disruptive to Operon Strategist or any other attendee.
Operon Strategist will, where applicable, provide technology and/or event related services in accordance with applicable laws within the United States and in other jurisdictions where it conducts business. Operon Strategist may prohibit any attendee, company, or individual registering from a restricted country or territory. All decisions are in Operon Strategist’s sole discretion and final.
- Privacy Statement
The views expressed by any attendee, speaker, or community partner are not necessarily those of Operon Strategist. All attendees, speakers, and community partners are solely responsible for the content of any individual or corporate presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online web content.
- Code of Conduct
You are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct. Event organizers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all Operon Strategist participants (including attendees, speakers, media, sponsors, and volunteers) to help promote a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be responsible for any delay or failure in performance to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, venue availability, or similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of the Organizer or its subcontractors.
For one or more of such reasons, the Organizer may postpone, reschedule, or cancel the event without liability. In such circumstances, the Organizer shall not be liable to the attendee for damages, costs, or losses incurred, including transportation, accommodation, or financial losses.
- Updates to These Terms
Operon Strategist reserves the right to update and change any part or all of these Registration Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. By registering, you consent to these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
